Terms and Conditions


Payments online will be requested through Square, Paypal, debit card or credit card. When your payment has been processed you will receive an email confirming your order has been placed.



Online purchases are subject to a postage and packaging charge the price of which depends on the purchase value and the shipping address. All US and Canada orders are insured and sent via US Postal Service.



Delivery is usually within 10 working days.  Custom pieces to will depend on the item.



A custom or customized order cannot be changed or cancelled once your deposit of 50% of the price has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order: amendment or cancellation will forfeit the deposit.



If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we are happy to offer an exchange within 30 days of purchase.  Purchases exempt from the exchange policy, unless they are structurally faulty, are:

— Commissioned pieces (custom)
— Customized pieces

When ordering rings online it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure he/she has ordered the correct size. We will re-size a ring once free of charge, but any further re-sizing will incur a charge of $60 per ring.

Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. 

We do not offer refunds on any orders.



We offer a custom service allowing customers to have entirely unique items designed especially for them. This service is limited to original designs that follow the character of CEJ creations, and the customer must agree to give artistic freedom to Carmen Eliam. Turn around times for custom orders are 4-8 weeks. Quotes on custom orders are valid for 30 days and we reserve the right to change prices prior to confirmation of order depending on length of time needed to design and create the piece, the fluctuation in price of the materials used to create the piece, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Imperfections are part of the essence of the designs; however, if you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to us for inspection.  We assess repairs on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of the handmade jewelry, occasionally a stone or bead may become loose. In this case we will re-set it. We are committed to making customers happy so please contact us as soon as possible if you experience any issues with your purchase.



Each piece is handmade and therefore unique, and small variations occur within pieces. If for any reason you are not happy with your order or you feel it is not in keeping with your request, we would be happy to exchange it for you within 30 days of purchase. 



For custom and customized orders we require a 50% deposit as confirmation of your order before production can begin. At this point you will be committed to purchase. The remainder will then need to be paid in full before collection or delivery of the order. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card, or bank transfer. Pieces remain the property of Carmen Eliam Jewelry until paid for in full.
